A Field of Flags To Benefit the Exchange Club and the Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse -

The Exchange Club-Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse would like to include you in the efforts of the Covington Exchange Club and the South Tipton Exchange Club in promoting Patriotism throughout our community by participating in the “Field of Flags”. The “Field of Flags” is a display of American Flags in memory or honor of a life of a Patriot; this includes anyone from war veterans to firefighters to police officers.

These flags will be on display from November 1st until November 14th. Locations that the flags will be displayed include: Atoka, Brighton, Covington, Munford, and Rosemark. The cost of each 3’ x 5’ nylon flag is $25.00 and will fly on an 8’ pole with rebar for mounting. A card will be placed at the base of each flag, stating the name of the person being honored or remembered and who has sponsored the flag. This flag will be yours to keep. After November 14th, you will pick your flag up at the Carl Perkins Center.

The Exchange Club’s objectives through this joint endeavor is to promote community awareness regarding Patriotism and raise much needed funds to secure continued services to children who have been abused and neglected in Tipton County.

The deadline to order your flag is October 24, 2014. If you have any questions you can contact me at 476-1515. Thank you for your consideration.
